A).First of all, beware of those who offer you any tourist services whose main goal is to mislead you and offer specific services with the information that there is no other way.
Another very basic thing is the so-called guides. In Poland and generally throughout Europe, to become a professional tour guide you must complete specific training for each city, which includes a thorough history of the city and its attractions, as well as knowledge of the fine arts associated with each monument (some museums also have separate training) and always ends with final exams. Each tourist guide receives his own license and ID card, which always has an expiration date. In Poland, the profession of a city guide was liberalized a few years ago, so anyone who does not have the knowledge can mislead you and prevent you from receiving the appropriate information. Official travel agencies that want to work with trained and professional guides always ask for his diploma. In turn, I present to you all my diplomas that I mentioned in my short CV.
B).WIELICZKA SALT MINE TOUR FROM KRAKOW: Unfortunately there is no Greek-speaking guide, you will need to organize a Polish tour and find a translator, or an English-language tour, which can be done directly if you know English. And remember that you can handle this yourself. (The distance between Krakow and Wieliczka is 10-12 km.)
You can go there as follows.
C) TRIP TO THE NAZI AUSCHWITZ CAMP FROM KRAKOW:
The distance between Krakow and Auschwitz is 70 km. There is a Greek-speaking guide in Oświęcim who works on weekdays, and if requested in advance, he can also come on Saturday. When purchasing tickets, it is best to contact directly:
Ania GLOWNIA, e-mail: a.m.glownia@gmail.com.
She will help you buy tickets at the lowest price, without price premiums from other places of purchase. Remember that a ticket to Auschwitz with a guide costs less than 10 euros and the tour lasts about three and a half hours.
You can also find Ania on the "Travel and Destinations" fb page.
